Pack Vase is a flower vase inspired by blister packaging used to wrap consumer products.Packaging is typically discarded once it has fulfilled its role. Yet within its ordinary, industrial form—and behind its mass-producibility—lie molding technologies and accumulated ingenuity. By making only subtle changes to the form, Pack Vase reinterprets what was once a “disposable container” into a vessel for displaying flowers.Pack Vase is an exploration of assigning a new role and meaning to industrial materials.
